Understanding where candidates stand on the issues that matter most to you will help you cast your vote in confidence, so we hope these guides will help you make the best choices as you take part in our democracy.
North Carolina Resources
NC Interfaith Power & Light has a voter guide that will help faith communities consider moral issues from the climate crisis to racial justice. NC Interfaith Power & Light is a program of the North Carolina Council of Churches. This role provides access to the Council’s membership of over 6,200 congregations. The North Carolina Council of Churches is comprised of 25 distinct judicatories from 17 denominations with 1.5 million congregants across the state.
The North Carolina League of Conservation Voters (NCLCV) is a pragmatic, results-oriented, non-partisan organization whose mission is to protect the health and quality of life for all North Carolinians. We elect environmental champions, advocate for environmental policies that protect our communities, and hold elected leaders accountable for their decisions. We create a political environment that will protect our natural environment.
Interfaith Creation Care of the Triangle (ICCT) was founded by members of twenty faith communities in North Carolina’s Triangle area in February, 2019. The mission of ICCT is “to work within and across communities of faith to urgently fulfill our sacred duty to love and protect Creation, address our changing climate, and ensure justice for all life.”
