FAQs:
Â
Who is eligible to enter the TZW Kid’s Poster Contest?
Anyone under the age of 18 by the submission date of July 31, 2021 at 11:59 P.M. ET.
Â
What should the poster be about?
Anything to do with plastic reduction. We do not want to limit the creativity of the artists interested in participating.
Â
Are there any limits to what kind of art can be submitted?
The only limit is that it must be a still image so no videos. It can be hand or digitally drawn; it can be a painting, mixed media, colorful, or black and white. All we ask is that the submission is made digitally by either sending a copy of the digital piece or a picture of a non-digital piece.
Â
How should the artwork be submitted?
Please send the digital copy to
events@towardzerowaste.org. Please include the First Name, Initial of Last Name, Age (as of July 31, 2021), & City of the artist. We will not retain this information and will only use it to give the artist credit. We reply to confirm receipt of your submission.
Â
What does the winner get?
One winner will be chosen from all of the submissions by our partners at Ekologicall. The winner will be notified via email and will receive a $25 Ekologicall gift card which can be used online or in their retail store in Charlotte, NC. The winning submission will be displayed on our homepage for at least one month and will be highlighted in the first monthly newsletter after the winner is chosen.
