It’s spring! Now that everyone has Marie Kondoed their homes and emptied out closets, shelves, and drawers it’s time to clean up that leftover dust. But what is a person moving toward zero waste to do about cleaning supplies?
Well Alyssa Cherry from Fillaree has that sorted out for you. Her love of the ocean and experience with her mom’s cancer diagnosis drove her to create a line of natural, synthetic free cleaning and bath products all while keeping plastic and packaging to a minimum. The best part- you can refill your bottles at her storefront in Durham, NC or at refill stations across the triangle and US!
If you can’t make it to the store or a station Fillaree has a subscription service that ships products right to your door using plastic free and compostable packaging with a prepaid envelope to send your used bottles back in. She also offers other zero waste products like reusable straws, compostable sponges and bamboo toothbrushes.
So as you embark on your spring cleaning journey give Fillaree a go to clean up and zero waste your cleaning routine!
