Hey there, I’m Lauren. I began my journey towards zero waste while living abroad in Scotland. I noticed that composting and recycling was included in city waste disposal programs and became interested in what other swaps I could make to reduce my carbon footprint. Since my move to Greensboro I have been lucky enough to join the Toward Zero Waste movement and learn from the amazing group of volunteers who make North Carolina a greener place to live. I’m excited to build our TZW community here in Greensboro and look forward to connecting with others making an impact in our little city.
