Join Toward Zero Waste Raleigh on a tour of the South Wake Landfill! Come see first hand where our landfilled trash goes and learn about the successes and challenges of managing our growing waste. The Wake County bus holds 14 passengers and masks are required. Participants must be 8 years or older to attend. A Wake County waiver and a COVID 19 addendum will need to be printed, signed, and brought with you the day of the event (see below for links). Closed toe shoes and long pants are recommended. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour to meet the rest of the TZW group! Raleigh residents first please, then we will be happy to fill any remaining spots with members from other municipalities.
