Andrea Rushing’s journey towards zero waste began in 2017 when she joined Toward Zero Waste and subsequently purchased a compost bin through the Town of Cary annual sale. An extension of this journey has been to share waste reduction information with others. In 2019, she started an Eco Kids Club for triangle-area home schooled kids. She is a wife and homeschooling mom to her daughter. In her copious amount of free time, she is a puppy wrangler, medicinal anomaly, and world traveler.
