BREW at the Cary Theater also gets high marks for creativity and progress! Unlike other, not so local coffee shops, dine-in customers always get their drinks in a mug or ball jar. Regulars have an opportunity to join the Mug Club where a small one time fee gets you a spot on the shelf to keep your favorite mug from home and a discount on each drink. Brew will wash it up for you and return it to the wall where it sits awaiting your next visit. Brew allows bring your own, has several locally made unpackaged pastries, great lunches on all reusable serve-ware including classy stainless condiment cups. Best of all, local gardeners can drop off a bucket and Brew will fill it with coffee grounds for your garden!
About the Author:
I’m a graphic designer located in Cary, NC and I specialize in helping provide affordable design work for small businesses and organizations. Leigh and Dargan asked me to help them with their goal of spreading the zero waste message and that how I got started on the zero waste path. It’s not easy- my wife and I have two young kids, so I appreciated the “Toward” in TZW’s message. It’s a challenging journey but I’m glad I’m on it!
