This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about the what happens after you throw things in the recycling bin including how material is sorted and bundled. SUMMARY:Makers Outreach at Cary Downtown Farmers Market
DESCRIPTION:The Toward Zero Waste Makers will be hosting a table at the Cary Downtown Farmers Market (CDFM) on April 8th from 9a-12p to further our partnership with the market and raise awareness of the Reusable Bag Project. This project turns leftover and repurposed fabric into reusable bags which vendors at the CDFM hand out for free to customers who don’t have their own reusable bag\, reducing the usage of plastic bags.
