She specializes in mindfulness and body-based approaches to healing trauma\, attachment\, and relationship difficulties. A returned Peace Corps Volunteer who speaks four languages\, Miriam brings a global perspective to her clinical work. She loves helping people work with their emotions about climate change and other global crises and sees this inner work as an important part of changing the world. Miriam earned a BA from Columbia University in 1999 and a Masters of Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2007. SUMMARY:South Wake Landfill Tour- For Apex Residents
DESCRIPTION:Join Toward Zero Waste Apex on a tour of the South Wake Landfill! Come see first hand where our landfilled trash goes and learn about the successes and challenges of managing our growing waste. The Wake County bus holds 14 passengers and masks are required. Participants must be 8 years or older to attend. A Wake County waiver and a COVID 19 addendum will need to be printed\, signed\, and brought with you the day of the event. Closed toe shoes and long pants are recommended. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour to meet the rest of the TZW group! Apex residents first please\, then we will be happy to fill any remaining spots with members from other municipalities.
